Have you got plans this weekend? Cancel them and come to Motorclassica instead! If you’d take a Daytona over a La Ferrari, a DB5 over a DB11, or a Miura over a Murciélago, this is the car show for you.
The Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton will once again play host to this special event. Set over 3 days, and featuring hundreds of classic cars, motorbikes and motoring memorabilia, there will be something for everyone. Come and see Australian Formula One legend Alan Jones, peruse the art exhibitors on the upstairs mezzanine, or, as a new addition to Motorclassica, there will be a live restoration theatre, which will feature 5 cars in various stages of restoration.
The main feature of the show will be the Australian International Concours d’Elegance. Recognised as one of the major international concours events, this year’s event is once again set to raise the standard of the caliber of cars we have in this country. We have been working closely with Peter and his hard-working team at Re-Creation Automotive to pull together a particularly exciting restoration project for this year’s event. We can’t give away too many details, except for perhaps a photo of the completed engine that we built earlier this year… You’ll see this engine at the show, but if you want to see the rest of the car you’ll just have to come and see it!
